•      Conduct workplace investigations at the direction of the Chief Legal Officer and immediately escalate any complaint alleging discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, or safety violations, or other unlawful conduct.

Human Resources Administration, Records, and Compliance

•      Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and personnel files, including confidential medical and disability-related files; administer background/exclusion screening, Form I-9 records, and required employment postings.

•      Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies, recommending updates to the CLO; generate HR and payroll reports for leadership.

Onboarding, Training, and Offboarding

•      Administer onboarding (offer and new hire documentation, orientation, provisioning, benefits enrollment) and offboarding (exit interviews, final pay, benefits termination, property return, unemployment claims); coordinate required training (harassment prevention, compliance, manager, and systems training) and track completion.

Recruiting

•      Manage full-cycle recruiting for a limited number of openings (postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, offers); ensure lawful, consistent, non-discriminatory selection and maintain applicant records.

•      Screen candidates for restrictive covenants (non-competition, non-solicitation, confidentiality agreements) and route findings, and any proposed non-W-2 engagement, to the Chief Legal Officer before an offer is extended.

RELATED DUTIES

•       Support the following initiatives: positive employee and candidate experiences, internal communications regarding HR programs, HR projects such as audits, engagement efforts, and policy rollouts, and recruiting-related outreach as directed.

•       Perform other duties as assigned.
