The Business Growth Advisor is responsible for developing new business, working qualified leads, understanding prospective customers' needs, recommending appropriate solutions, and converting qualified opportunities into VBA customers.
This is a sales position.
However, we don't believe effective sales begins with a product pitch.
It begins with understanding the business.
You'll talk with entrepreneurs and business owners, learn about their goals and challenges, identify opportunities where VBA may be able to help, recommend appropriate solutions, conduct demonstrations, follow up with prospects, and confidently ask for the business when there is a strong fit.
The goal isn't to sell every VBA product to every business.
The goal is to sell the right solution to the right customer while helping VBA grow.
Business Growth Advisors are expected to actively help create new sales opportunities rather than relying exclusively on inbound leads.

Is this the right solution for them?
If the answer is yes, the advisor should confidently recommend it.
If the answer is no, don't force it.
Depending on the opportunity, Business Growth Advisors may:
Advisors aren't expected to know every technical detail.

At VBA, sales begins with understanding the business.
Business Growth Advisors take the time to learn about a prospective customer's goals, challenges, current tools, and priorities before recommending a solution.
When a VBA solution is a strong fit, the advisor is expected to clearly explain the value, answer questions, address concerns, and confidently guide the customer toward a decision.
Our approach is:
Understand → Assess → Recommend → Demonstrate → Ask → Follow Up → Close
We believe strong sales comes from making the right recommendation and earning the customer's trust—not from pushing products that aren't needed.
The goal is to create long-term customers by solving real business problems while contributing to VBA's continued growth.

Advancement depends on performance, demonstrated capability, business needs, and VBA's continued growth.
VBA is building a company designed to help businesses move forward.
That requires more than great products.
It requires people who can find businesses that need those products, understand their challenges, clearly communicate how VBA can help, build trust, and confidently earn their business.
A business owner should leave a conversation with a VBA Business Growth Advisor with a better understanding of what they need—even if they don't become a customer that day.
When VBA is the right fit, however, the advisor's responsibility is clear:
Earn the relationship. Ask for the business. Close the opportunity. Help VBA grow.
If you're interested in sales, technology, entrepreneurship, and helping businesses solve real problems, we'd like to hear from you.
