About The Role:

We have an extraordinary opportunity for a Venture Analyst to join our Dallas team! The role will focus on supporting our Venture practice and will play a critical role in executing venture transactions, supporting firm clients and internal team members, and assisting with client requests. This role offers a unique opportunity to build valuable venture modeling experience and become an expert in critical software in the venture capital industry. Your work will directly impact the firm’s ability to provide top-tier investment solutions and create long-term value for investors and portfolio companies. This is a three-year role that is intended to be a stepping stone to business school, law school, or working for a venture capital or private equity fund.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manage cap tables and create pro forma cap tables for venture financing rounds
• Become a subject matter expert in online cap table management platforms
• Work closely with the Venture Associate to support internal and external reporting on venture trends and the firm’s investment portfolio
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree preferably in Finance, Statistics, or Data Analysis
• Exceptional Excel Word skills
• Excel/financial modeling experience required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Results-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Exceptional time management and multitasking abilities, with the capability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
