About The Role:

As our marketing efforts expand, additional support is needed to maintain and grow our initiatives effectively. The Marketing Intern will assist with website maintenance, social media content, blogs, newsletters, and other marketing-related tasks. This role will provide hands-on experience, while alleviating workload constraints and allowing us to scale our marketing outreach more efficiently. 

This role is onsite and will work 10 to 15 hours per week as needed (can work Mondays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays) 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Website Maintenance: Updating content, ensuring accuracy, refreshing pages and content, and assisting with SEO improvements
• Social Media Management: Creating and scheduling posts for Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok, engaging with followers, and assisting in content strategy
• Content Creation: Editing blog posts, drafting client-facing newsletters, and supporting internal communications like the weekly employee newsletter
• Graphic Design Support: Assisting with Canva projects for social media, newsletters, and website visuals
• Administrative Tasks: Helping streamline marketing assets and supporting other marketing needs as they arise
• Other responsibilities as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Knowledge of social media platforms and basic understanding of digital marketing principles 
• Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.)
• Proven experience managing social media accounts
• Proficient in Google Suite applications
• Creative thinking and ability to produce engaging, on-brand content
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively
