About The Role:

We have an extraordinary opportunity for someone to join our team in the Austin office as a Litigation Attorney. This role will handle all phases of the dispute resolution process, from legal research and drafting to trial advocacy and client counseling. The Litigation Attorney will develop legal strategies, represent clients in court and negotiations, and manage a diverse caseload. This opportunity is a great match for attorneys with at least 5 years of experience in litigation and general disputes, but ideally, the candidate will have 6 or more years of experience. 

Key responsibilities will include:

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in all aspects of the litigation process, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on litigation and risk management issues.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop creative and effective legal strategies.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Help manage a robust caseload of litigation and dispute resolution matters, including but not limited to commercial disputes, contract disputes, employment disputes, and regulatory matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in Texas.
• Approximately 5-6+ years of experience practicing litigation/dispute resolution law, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Advanced legal research and writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, hands-on team in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
