Position Summary

Vegas Vascular Medicine is a single provider specialty practice focused on the diagnosis, medical management, and prevention of vascular diseases. We are looking for a vascular technologist that is RVT credentialed to perform vascular testing via ultrasound and pulse volume recordings. This will be per Diem at a rate of $50 per hour with a minimum of four hours. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

·       Perform vascular ultrasounds and pulse volume recordings on patients in a timely fashion

·       Write preliminary reports in a timely fashion

·       Keep close communication with the physician, especially with urgent findings

·       Maintains professional behavior and appearance

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Must have the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential and be able to perform venous duplexes of the upper and lower extremities, arterial duplexes of the upper and lower extremities, carotid ultrasounds (with CIMT), abdominal vascular imaging (aorta and iliacs, IVC and iliacs, mesenteric, renal), pulse volume recordings including with exercise of the upper and lower extremities and digits, and evaluation of compression syndromes such as thoracic outlet compression, median arcuate ligament compression, and May Thurner. Further training on other conditions will be provided if needed.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

Physical requirements are standard for performing the job as a vascular technician. There is a room dedicated to do these studies.
