Are you on the East Coast, passionate about social media, and looking for an hourly opportunity to showcase your skills? VDS Digital Agency is seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our team in December 2024/January 2025. This role offers a salary range of $23 to $35 per hour, depending on experience and benefits such as paid time off, paid sick leave, and the opportunity to learn and be part of a dynamic marketing agency.

Job Overview:

As a Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement for our diverse range of clients, including those in the military, medical, event industries, and more. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop engaging content, monitor social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, TikTok, and others), and analyze performance metrics using Business tools to optimize campaigns.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement for various clients from analytics

- Curate engaging content for different social media platforms (No design)

- Monitor social media channels for customer feedback and respond to inquiries in a timely manner during business hours

- Analyze performance metrics and provide reports to the marketing team

- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role of 1 or 2 years minimum

- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms and best practices

- Strong communication and writing skills

- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics

- Must be a U.S. citizen located in the U.S. (VA/East Coast preferred)

- Willing to work as a W-2 hourly employee

- Must pass a background check

- Number of hours per week will be progressive
