Experienced Lead Carpenter to Lead On-site Projects


The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily execution of projects throughout Massachusetts with some travel (occasional overnights) to Maine, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Your carpentry and leadership skills will be equally important in this role. You will manage production on-site, direct field personnel and maintain good communication with the team to make sure the job is finished on time and within budget. You will maintain a safe work environment.

Our ideal lead carpenters are experienced tradesmen with a well-rounded ‘handyman’ skill set in addition to ‘rough framer’ or finish guy. We restore and or maintain older beautiful homes for sober living occupancy.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Mass CSL is helpful but not required
  • Must have carpentry experience (7 + years, 2 years as a lead) and experience with remodeling
  • Requisite background and skill for frame to finish carpentry.
  • Professional presentation and demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Work with and manage other trades on your jobsite.
  • Work closely with project management team to identify and solve problems
  • Maintain a safe and clean jobsite.
  • Layout and install framing
  • Install new millwork, cabinets, and counter tops.
  • Install and or repair flooring
  • Install doors and windows and install all associated hardware.
  • Work with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.
  • Your own tools, a valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation.
  • The ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 80lbs.
  • OSHA 10
  • Must be willing to pass a criminal background check in compliance with regulations
  • Additional experience with plumbing, electrical, and painting helpful


$28 - $35 per hour
