Position Overview

We're seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to join our team as an Intake Coordinator and Presuit Paralegal. This dual role is perfect for someone who loves helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a firm that truly cares about its clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities

Intake Coordination (60% of role)

• Conduct initial client consultations in English and Spanish
• Gather detailed case information and documentation
• Explain our process and answer client questions with empathy and clarity
• Screen potential cases for merit and fit
• Schedule follow-up appointments and consultations with attorneys
• Maintain organized intake files and documentation

Spanish Presuit Paralegal Duties (40% of role)

• Obtain and organize medical records and bills
• Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and clients
• Draft demand letters and settlement packages
• Prepare case files for attorney review
• Assist with client communication throughout the presuit process
• Track statute of limitations and important deadlines
• Support case management and file organization

Required Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing)
• 2+ years of plaintiff's personal injury or related legal experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software (Casepeer and Lead Docket preferred)
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with personal injury intake processes
• Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages
• Familiarity with insurance claim processes
• Experience with legal research and document drafting
