Position Overview
We're seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) professional to join our team as an Intake Coordinator and Presuit Paralegal. This dual role is perfect for someone who loves helping people, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to be part of a firm that truly cares about its clients and team members.
Key Responsibilities
Intake Coordination (60% of role)
- Conduct initial client consultations in English and Spanish
- Gather detailed case information and documentation
- Explain our process and answer client questions with empathy and clarity
- Screen potential cases for merit and fit
- Schedule follow-up appointments and consultations with attorneys
- Maintain organized intake files and documentation
Spanish Presuit Paralegal Duties (40% of role)
- Obtain and organize medical records and bills
- Communicate with medical providers, insurance companies, and clients
- Draft demand letters and settlement packages
- Prepare case files for attorney review
- Assist with client communication throughout the presuit process
- Track statute of limitations and important deadlines
- Support case management and file organization
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Spanish and English (speaking, reading, writing)
- 2+ years of plaintiff's personal injury or related legal experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and case management software (Casepeer and Lead Docket preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with personal injury intake processes
- Knowledge of medical terminology in both languages
- Familiarity with insurance claim processes
- Experience with legal research and document drafting
