We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Carpenter to construct, install, and repair wooden structures and fixtures. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using various hand and power tools and capable of reading and interpreting inspection reports. This role requires excellent physical stamina and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct and install but not limited to building frameworks, including siding, trim, roofing and doors.
- Read and interpret inspection reports, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and calculate the materials required.
- Repair and replace existing structures, such as stairways, drywall, damaged framing, siding, trim and roofing.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations on all job sites.
- Operate company vehicles and pest control equipment safely and efficiently.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 years of proven experience as a Carpenter
- Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices (e.g., hammers, saws, levels, squares).
- Ability to perform physical labor includes lifting heavy materials, bending, and standing for long periods.
- A valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and reliable truck for transportation to various job sites.
- Clean Driving Record
Pay
- $28.00 to $35.00 based on experience
