As a Senior Software Engineer at Valiflo, you’ll be joining a tight-knit, fast-growing team that’s building groundbreaking web applications to reshape the future of utility management. What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable web applications that power Valiflo’s utility solutions.
• Collaborate with teammates across product, design, and operations to deliver innovative features.
• Optimize our platform for performance, security, and scalability to support large-scale growth.
• Contribute to technical decisions and help guide Valiflo’s tech direction—we make decisions together.

What You Bring

• You have 5+ years of hands-on experience building and scaling full-stack web applications, with a strong command of TypeScript across the stack. You’re comfortable taking technical ownership and partnering with the Director of Engineering on architectural decisions in a fast-moving startup environment.
• You bring deep experience in modern front-end technologies such as Vue, Nuxt.js, React, and Next.js, with strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, or C#. You have solid backend development skills in Node.js and RESTful APIs. You’ve worked extensively with SQL databases (Postgres preferred) and have practical experience operating within cloud-based architectures, ideally on AWS.
• You thrive in ambiguity, enjoy solving complex problems, and bring a collaborative mindset focused on building high-quality systems and helping the team succeed.
