Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of Marine Interior Carpentry, including installation of wall systems, ceiling systems, joiner doors, furniture, and galley equipment.
- Read and understand drawings and documents to complete tasks accurately.
- Organize work tasks, pay attention to detail, and multitask effectively.
- Communicate effectively with team members and assist in problem-solving.
- Prioritize safety in all tasks and follow all safety procedures.
- Work in noisy, hot, cold, and sometimes hazardous environments.
- Work outside of normal hours as needed.
- Foster a cooperative work environment and maintain cleanliness in work areas.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, working at heights, and standing for long periods.
- Be available for overtime, night shifts, and weekends.
- Adhere to regulations regarding eligibility to work in the USA, pass a background check, and drug screen.
- Available to travel all over US as job demands.
Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant experience as a Joiner Supervisor is Mandatory.
- Ability to work with various materials and equipment used in marine interior carpentry.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in various weather conditions and hazardous environments.
- Flexibility to travel to various locations in the US as position demands.
Physical Demands:
- Lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks with hands and arms.
- Work at heights and around machinery.
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, climb stairs, and lift as needed.
Work Environment:
- Work in various weather conditions, exposed to loud noises, harmful materials, and dangerous machinery.
- Be available for overtime, night shifts, and weekends.
- Flexibility to travel as needed.
Eligibility:
- Must have a state or federal issued ID.
- Authorized to work in the USA.
- Must be cleared to travel across the United States as needed.
- Must produce clear background screening.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen & physical.
