Our innovative service model includes a service charge instead of a tip pool, paying employees a higher hourly wage based on their ability to perform multiple roles, ensuring fair and motivating compensation. 


RESPONSIBILITIES

Bartender

  • Mix and serve drinks.
  • Prep for bar service (cutting garnishes, cleaning, general bar setup)
  • BOH Bar prep (batching, following prep recipes)
  • Engage with customers, offer a friendly and memorable experience.
  • Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
  • Use POS system efficiently
  • Be part of the heart and soul of our bar's atmosphere.

Barback

  • Support bartenders by keeping the bar stocked and clean throughout the entire service.
  • Assist with set-up and basic prep tasks to keep the bar running smoothly.
  • Work in tandem with the food runner to keep bar, patio, and floor areas clear of dirty glassware and dishes.
  • Be an essential part of the behind-the-scenes magic.
  • A great starting point for those looking to grow in the hospitality industry.

Runner

  • Provide friendly and excellent service to our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience.
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks, handle transactions, clear tables.
  • Be knowledgeable about our menu and offer recommendations.
  • Deliver a high level of hospitality and care to every guest.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Carry out all tasks with an attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety while maintaining an enjoyable and clean environment for guests and team.
  • Ability to multitask (ie converse with guests while making drinks)
  • Work efficiently and maintain a reasonable pace of service at all times.
  • Engage with all guests in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
  • Work to uphold and enforce all necessary legal statutes at all times.
  • Serve safely and appropriately any alcohol by monitoring intake and communicating with staff and management when there are issues or needs.
  • Fill in for absent staff as needed, assist with special events as needed.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Ability to honor your schedule, show up on time and clock in and out, put in requests for time off with appropriate notice.
  • Ability to fluently work the POS system, as well as responsibly and accurately handle cash payments.
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as nonverbal communications in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
  • Previous cocktail and bartending experience strongly preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to handle physical workload, including bending, stooping, and lifting for up to 75% of your scheduled shift.
  • Ability to stand for 100% of your scheduled shift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, maneuver in narrow hallways, up and down small stairways and behind the bar.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Physically strenuous, standing, lifting, kneeling, stooping, walking and stair climbing throughout the entire shift.
  • Loud environment with low lighting in some areas and bright lights in others.
  • No driving required. 


Salary

$20 - $40 per hour
