OVERVIEW
When it comes to craft cocktails, making everything from scratch is non-negotiable. We are looking for a Bar Prep to support our bar team and ensure they are set up for a successful service. This is an integral role that demands attention to detail, and a love of the craft.

SALARY + HOURS EXPECTATIONS
- $14-$17 an hour
- 20-30 hours weekly
- Weekday and weekend availability required
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing our house made syrups, tinctures, shrubs, batches and juices.
- Ensure all pars are met and the service team has what they need for a successful service.
- Work in tandem with the bartenders and barbacks to ensure there is not excessive waste in the bar program.
- Be an essential part of the behind-the-scenes magic.
- A great starting point for those looking to grow in the hospitality industry.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Carry out all tasks with an attention to detail, cleanliness, and safety while maintaining an enjoyable and clean environment for guests and team.
- Ability to multitask (ie converse with guests while making drinks)
- Work efficiently and maintain a reasonable pace of service at all times.
- Engage with all guests in a timely, professional and friendly manner.
- Work to uphold and enforce all necessary legal statutes at all times.
- Serve safely and appropriately any alcohol by monitoring intake and communicating with staff and management when there are issues or needs.
- Fill in for absent staff as needed, assist with special events as needed.
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
- Ability to honor your schedule, show up on time and clock in and out, put in requests for time off with appropriate notice.
- Must be able to follow written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as nonverbal communications in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
- Previous bar prep experience strongly preferred.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to handle physical workload, including bending, stooping, and lifting for up to 75% of your scheduled shift.
- Ability to stand for 100% of your scheduled shift.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, maneuver in narrow hallways, up and down small stairways and behind the bar.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Physically strenuous, standing, lifting, kneeling, stooping, walking and stair climbing throughout the entire shift.
- Loud environment with low lighting in some areas and bright lights in others.
- No driving required.
