Upperhand.com, a B2B2C SaaS company in the sports facility industry, is seeking a Marketing Specialist Intern to support our marketing team in managing organic marketing channels, partnering with marketing organizations like DemandWell.com, and improving our social media and SEO presence. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the marketing field while working with a dynamic and fast-paced team. The position is preferred to be on-site at our headquarters in downtown Indianapolis.


  • Manage organic marketing channels to increase brand awareness and engagement in the sports facility industry
  • Work with marketing partners like DemandWell.com to develop and execute targeted marketing strategies
  • Engage with sports facilities and related organizations on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok
  • Assist with improving website SEO, including keyword research and optimization, to increase organic traffic and search engine rankings
  • Write blog content for the Upper Hand blog to provide value to our target audience and attract new customers
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to support other projects as needed


  • Strong writing and communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and SEO best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising concepts in the B2B2C SaaS and sports facility industry a plus

The internship is expected to start as soon as possible or no later than the end of February and compensation will vary based on the number of hours available to work. The intern is expected to work between 10 and 20 hours a week.
