About the Role


You'll work closely with our providers and clinical team to keep the practice running smoothly — handling everything from patient check-in and insurance verification to rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with procedures, and supporting post-visit follow-up. No two days are the same.


What You'll Do

  • Welcome and check in patients; verify insurance and collect copays
  • Room patients, document chief complaints, take vitals, and update medical history
  • Assist providers during orthopedic exams and minor procedures
  • Apply splints, assist with DME fitting, and support post-op care coordination
  • Perform phlebotomy and process lab specimens as needed
  • Schedule follow-ups, referrals, and imaging
  • Work alongside our AI-assisted phone system to manage patient communication and escalate as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment


What We're Looking For

  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting
  • Orthopedic experience strongly preferred
  • CMA (AAMA), RMA (AMT), or equivalent clinical experience
  • Comfortable moving fluidly between front desk and clinical duties
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a significant plus
  • Phlebotomy experience a plus
  • Tebra EHR experience a plus


Certifications — Please list any you hold in your application:

  • CPR/BLS (required — must have or be willing to obtain before start)
  • CMA (AAMA) or RMA (AMT)
  • Orthopedic Technologist — NAOT (highly valued)
  • Phlebotomy Certification (NHA, ASPT, or equivalent)
  • Medical Billing/Coding (CPC or similar)
  • Other relevant clinical certifications
