SUMMARY The Recovery Support Service Supervisor – Recovery Community Center (RSS Supervisor) will provide on-site leadership, coordination, and day-to-day supervision of peer-led activities, services, and operations within Unity Recovery’s Recovery Community Center (RCC). This role is primarily responsible for managing daily RCC shifts, including activity flow, participant engagement, staff coverage, and real-time support for peer specialists with short-term needs. While the RSS Supervisor may participate in limited ongoing formal supervision over time (pending additional training and experience), the core responsibilities emphasize daily operational oversight rather than weekly supervisory caseload management. The RSS Supervisor will also play a key leadership role in community outreach and engagement efforts, including street outreach to potential participants and relationship development with community referral partners, collaborative agencies, and neighborhood stakeholders. The RSS Supervisor must demonstrate strong skills in peer-program operations, daily activity coordination, shift coverage management, community engagement, and real-time problem-solving to maintain high-quality peer-led recovery support services.
Don’t meet every single requirement? Studies have shown that women, people of color, and those who identify as LGBTQ+, are less likely to apply to jobs if they don’t meet every single qualification. At Unity Recovery, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles.
