The Wealth-Building Model
This is a W-2 position with full benefits, but it’s designed for those with an entrepreneurial mindset. While the base salary provides stability, the true value of this role lies in an uncapped, compounding revenue-share model.
- Compounding Income Streams: Build a personal book of business through the production and renewals of the pod you own.
- Production Overrides: Earn a percentage of every MA sale, every ancillary cross-sell, and every renewal within your agent pod.
- Passive Renewal Income: Every policy your agents write pays you a recurring monthly override for as long as it remains active.
- Agency Partnership Bonus: Receive rewards for introducing and onboarding qualified downline agencies to the UGP platform.
Leadership & Strategy
You’ll work directly with a founding team of industry experts to expand UGP’s presence. This role is built on strategic recruiting and relationship development — not transactional sales.
- Identify & Partner: Scout and recruit high-potential field agents and agencies in your target market.
- Coach & Develop: Act as a field consultant, helping agents leverage UGP’s technology, carrier contracts, and compliance infrastructure to scale.
- Accountability & Visibility: Own your regional pipeline and track production metrics to drive consistent growth.
- Strategic Outreach: Execute sophisticated outreach using LinkedIn, industry research, and your professional network.
Professional Profile
- Experience: 5+ years in business development, sales leadership, or agent recruiting.
- Industry Knowledge: (Health) Insurance industry experience strongly preferred.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial, curious, relationship oriented and motivated by building something from the ground up.
- Skills: Proven ability to develop a robust prospective agent pipeline and build trusted, long-term relationships. Bilingual is a nice to have.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000–$65,000 (W-2)
- Uncapped Performance Overrides: Monthly and annual revenue-share based on pod production.
