Job Title: Inside Sales Agent

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt (Hourly)

Schedule: Full time with possibility of weekend overtime during peak times

Reports to: Inside Sales Manager

Date: November 4, 2024  

Location: Remote


Job Summary:

Inside Sales Agents are responsible for receiving inbound and placing outbound calls with the goal of understanding the needs of potential customers in order to recommend the best insurance fit for their needs.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Receive inbound calls from, and make outbound calls to, consumers in need of Medicare Health Plans and other Insurance products.
  • Build rapport and establish a personalized relationship with your customers in order to better understand their needs and make tailored product recommendations.
  • Ensure accurate recording of customer information in our CRM and enrollment tools.
  • Follow-up with recent enrollees and existing membership in order to improve member experiences and contribute to higher retention rates.
  • Exceed sales targets while maintaining the highest of ethical and compliance standards.
  • Create a differentiated consumer experience, as measured by best-in-class member retention rates and Net Promoter Scores.

Required Education and Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a call center environment (Insurance sales or customer service is preferred).
  • An active health and life insurance license or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of hire.

 

Work Environment

  • A dedicated workspace at home, lacking interruptions and with the ability to protect PHI and HIPAA information.
  • A dedicated, reliable internet connection, free from competing usage that can impact phone audio quality.

·      Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
