Understanding Minds Psychological Services is hiring full-time providers for our growing practice based in South St. Louis County. We are a locally owned and operated practice committed to delivering high-quality, innovative, and ethical mental health services to our community.

Description

Role and responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy
  • Conduct comprehensive intake and follow-up assessments
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings
  • Opportunities to participate in delivery of groups and workshops, and/or develop additional clinical programming if desired
  • Full-time positions require a minimum of 27 client-facing hours per week, with bonuses available for providers who achieve additional hours benchmarks

  • Full or provisional licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist) in the state of Missouri 
  • Desire to maintain a full-time caseload

  • Cultural competence and commitment to providing ethical care
  • Excellent time management, boundaries, communication, and rapport building skills
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours to meet client demand; hiring bonus offered to those who schedule a minimum number of these high-demand hours monthly
  • Special consideration may be given to candidates who have interest or experience in the following areas: child/adolescent therapy, play therapy, ERP treatment for OCD, EMDR or other trauma-focused therapy, therapy with older adults
