Understanding Minds Psychological Services is hiring full-time clinical staff for our growing practice in St. Louis County. We are a locally owned and operated practice committed to delivering high-quality, innovative, and ethical mental health services to our community.


Role and responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy
  • Conduct comprehensive intake and follow-up assessments
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation of sessions
  • Attend weekly Treatment Team meetings
  • Function as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, with opportunities to engage in peer mentorship and clinical supervision if desired
  • Opportunities to provide couples and family therapy if desired
  • Opportunities to develop additional clinical programming if desired
  • Full-time positions require a minimum of 27 client-facing hours per week, with bonuses available for providers who achieve additional hours benchmarks

  • Full or provisional licensure (Licensed Psychologist, PLPC/LPC, LMSW/LCSW, or LMFT) in the state of Missouri

  • Cultural competence and commitment to providing ethical care
  • Excellent time management, boundaries, communication, and rapport building skills
  • Ability to work evening and weekend hours to meet client demand; hiring bonus offered to those who schedule a minimum number of these high-demand hours monthly
