WHAT SETS UNDERSTANDING MINDS APART?

We are a true team – not just a collective of therapists or shared office space. We collaborate, consult, problem-solve, socialize, mentor, and encourage. Teamwork is fostered through weekly Treatment Team meetings as well as in the halls, by email or Zoom, and over lunch. The ability to consult with highly skilled, multidisciplinary colleagues when we need it ensures:

  • High-quality care for our clients
  • Increased confidence in our clinical and ethical decision-making
  • Continued learning and growth
  • Benefits for both clients and therapists from exposure to an array of disciplines and theoretical approaches

Our administrative team provides comprehensive support, from marketing to therapist matching, scheduling, and billing. You never have to market yourself to build your caseload, schedule clients,  field cancellations, collect copays or fees, or deal with insurance companies. This creates space for therapists to focus on the parts of your work you value most – without the stress or numerous unpaid hours handling administrative tasks.

Full-time administrative coverage also means that both clients and therapists receive prompt, thoughtful responses to their needs. In addition to taking calls and emails in real time, our administrative staff respond to left messages the same or following day, allowing clients to feel taken care of from the first point of contact.

We invest in and develop our team members holistically, from day one, and beyond the industry norm. This means not only professional and financial support toward supervision, training, CEUs, and licensure renewal, but also dedicated professional development driven by and tailored to your clinical and professional strengths, goals, interests, and areas for growth.

Collaborative and tailored caseload-building combines the best of private practice and community mental health worlds. Compared with hospital systems, university settings, and community mental health offices, our outpatient setting supports therapists to grow caseloads that reflect their clinical interests and strengths while still gaining generalist experience. We encourage our staff to pursue specializations that they feel passionate about, without ever limiting them to specific programs or populations, and offer caseload stability by working to connect therapists with the types of clients they want to serve.

As a small, locally owned and operated business, we have the drive and flexibility to grow alongside our staff and respond thoughtfully to feedback. We are committed to providing long-term organizational stability that prioritizes the wellbeing of our team, and aren’t beholden to corporate bureaucracy or profit-seeking. Our leadership team is comprised of senior staff members who practice an active, ethical, collaborative, and accountable approach to leadership.
