We’re seeking a dependable and motivated ULU Wellness Rep to join our team in a part-time role, with opportunity for expanded hours and potential full-time as we continue to grow. This position includes flexible scheduling with at least one required weekend shift, as well as opportunities to support off-site events such as the Health & Fitness Expo and ACL Music Festival, where we provide mobile IV services. Ulu is your neighborhood wellness studio located in Bouldin Creek, Austin TX. Designed to bring the tranquility of Bali and the vitality of Austin together, we're reimagining what a wellness studio can be. Our studio features four private sauna and cold plunge rooms, a state-of-the-art red light therapy bed, an IV lounge, and a thoughtfully curated retail area. Taking influence from the Sea and the Sun, our space is flooded with natural light, plants and organic materials, transporting you to Uluwatu Bali, or Barton Springs Pool. Description

Position Summary

The first person to greet clients and guide them on their wellness journey through ULU.  They maintain a safe, welcoming and clean studio for all guests. Facilitate all non-medical services, communicate effectively with clients and other staff members and educate all clients on the services, memberships and packages we offer.


Essential Duties and Functions

  1. Build and maintain courteous and professional relationships with clients and members.
  2. Use our POS to book, add profiles, reschedule, cancel, sell memberships/services/packages and accept payments from our clients.
  3. Welcome all clients, take them to their treatment rooms, and give them all the information needed before each service.
  4. Performing all cleaning duties between clients in service rooms and completing all opening and closing duties when it is appropriate.
  5. Maintain knowledge of all the services, treatments and products we offer and have the ability to articulate the benefits to clients in a variety of ways.
  6. While not working with clients, assisting in other studio upkeep tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and client outreach.


Minimum Qualifications

- Passionate about all things health and wellness

- Minimum of 2 year experience working in a wellness studio.

-Minimum of 2 years experience in a customer service or retail related field

- Has a degree or is working on a degree in exercise science, kinesiology, nutrition, personal training or similar fields is preferred.

- Availability to work evenings and weekends

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

 - Knowledge of health and wellness principles

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

-Ability to use computer equipment and software including work processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and electronic mail. Proficiency with programs such as Google drive, Excel, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.


Physical Demands and Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

May be required to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift, carry and balance up to 50 pounds.



Salary

$22 - $23 per hour
