Description

Start a career in Medicare sales

Ukiah Insurance Services LLC is looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to begin a career in Medicare sales.

No previous insurance license or Medicare experience is required. For selected candidates, UIS will sponsor the applicable insurance-licensing process and provide structured training, coaching, and support.

After licensing and completion of the hiring requirements, this becomes a permanent, year-round hourly position—not a temporary AEP contract. The role may be performed remotely from an approved U.S. state or from our office in Ukiah, California.

Why join UIS?

Spend more time serving customers and less time on busywork. UIS uses modern tools to organize customer information, simplify documentation, streamline follow-up, and provide practical coaching.

 - UIS-sponsored insurance licensing for selected candidates

 - Permanent, year-round employment after licensing and hiring requirements are completed

 - $19-$22 per hour after employment begins

 - Performance-based bonus for every Credited Sale, beginning with the first

 - No minimum-sales threshold before bonuses begin

 - Remote-work flexibility or an in-office option in Ukiah, California

 - Consistent Monday–Friday Pacific-time schedule

 - Structured Medicare, sales, systems, and compliance training

 - Modern comparison, enrollment, and customer-service tools

 - Carrier contracting and appointments coordinated by UIS and Ritter

 - An opportunity to help shape a growing Medicare sales operation

Licensing sponsorship

UIS will directly pay for the following approved licensing expenses for selected candidates:

 - One UIS-authorized prelicensing course

 - One examination attempt

 - Required fingerprinting

 - Initial insurance-license application

Selection for licensing sponsorship is not a guarantee of employment. Candidates must obtain the required license and satisfy the stated hiring conditions before employment begins. Sponsored costs are not subject to repayment.

Once employment begins, required UIS onboarding, Medicare training, carrier certification, systems training, and practice work are paid working time.

What you’ll do after you are hired

 - Conduct professional, customer-focused Medicare conversations.

 - Learn what customers need before discussing available options.

 - Help customers consider doctors, prescriptions, pharmacies, costs, geography, and coverage

  priorities.

 - Explain information clearly and check customer understanding.

 - Use approved comparison, enrollment, telephone, and documentation systems.

 - Complete accurate enrollment and post-call records.

 - Follow Medicare, privacy, recording, and enrollment requirements.

 - Avoid unsupported promises or guarantees.

 - Escalate questions rather than guessing.

 - Participate in training, coaching, and quality review.

 - Protect customer information.

 - Maintain required licenses and certifications.

What we’re looking for

You may be a good fit if you:

 - Communicate clearly and patiently.

 - Listen carefully and enjoy helping people.

 - Have customer-service, sales, hospitality, retail, call-center, or similar experience.

 - Can learn detailed information and explain it in plain language.

 - Are organized, accurate, and dependable.

 - Are comfortable using multiple technology tools.

 - Respond positively to coaching.

 - Take privacy and responsible sales practices seriously.

 - Are willing to complete licensing promptly.

 - Are authorized to work in the United States.

 - Can satisfy applicable background, licensing, carrier, security, and readiness requirements.

The position pays between $19 and $22 per hour after the candidate obtains the required license, satisfies the hiring conditions, and begins employment.

Agents are also eligible for a performance-based sales bonus beginning with their first Credited Sale.

Remote agents must have a private workspace, reliable internet access, and a compatible personal computer that meets UIS security requirements. Approved remote employees receive a $75 monthly remote-work stipend and any additional expense reimbursement required by their work state.

UIS provides the necessary work equipment for employees working from the Ukiah office.
