Is a bench position with a finish carpentry / cabinet maker skillset, responsible for assembly of exhibits, cabinetry, ancillary assets. Must have ability to work weekends.
Experienced Exhibit Builder-
This bench position requires a skilled finish carpenter/cabinet maker to be responsible for assembling exhibits, cabinetry, and other assets. Availability to work on weekends is a must. The individual must be able to follow the direction of supervisors and adhere to established processes while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Daily Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Lead man to review detailed prints and see projects through to completion.
Construct exhibits and exhibit components according to fit and finish standards.
Read and interpret construction drawings.
Proficient in laminating.
Safely operate various woodworking power tools.
Perform additional duties as needed.
Low voltage electrical skills are a plus.
Requirements:
High School diploma.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in exhibit production or cabinet making.
Proficiency in construction and cabinetry skills, as well as the use of hand and power tools.
Ability to work well in a team environment while also being accountable for individual performance.
Capable of working under tight deadlines with a commitment to high-quality standards.
