This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Mowing crew foreman – working supervisor of one or multiple landscape maintenance/mowing crews.
• Participate in spring and fall clean-ups, edging, mulching, hedge trimming, plant and landscape installations, lawn installs, etc.
• Help with and ensure proper training of new employees in the Maintenance Division
• Helps customers understand services provided
• Responds promptly to requests from office
• Securely and safely maintains service vehicle, equipment, and materials
• Actively participates in learning opportunities
• Assist other production-based departments, as needed
• Work independently on various projects/tasks as assigned
• Other duties as assigned by management

Requirements: 

• Valid driver’s license
• Valid Massachusetts hoisting license (preferred)
• Ability to carry up to 50 to 100 pounds, 8-10 hours per day
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• 2+ years previous industry experience is required (lawn and landscape maintenance)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with little direction

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in lawn and landscape maintenance and/or landscape and plant install, including mowing, weedwacking, etc, or beautification services like mulching, edging and hedge trimming, etc.
