Description
This position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Enhancement crew foreman – working supervisor of one or multiple landscape maintenance/enhancement/install crews.
- Manage an enhancement crew. Scope of work included spring and fall clean-ups, edging, mulching, hedge trimming, plant and landscape installations, lawn installs, etc.
- Help with and ensure proper training of new employees in the Enhancement Division
- Helps customers understand services provided
- Responds promptly to requests from office
- Securely and safely maintains service vehicle, equipment, and materials
- Actively participates in learning opportunities
- Assist other production-based departments, as needed
- Work independently on various projects/tasks as assigned
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid Massachusetts hoisting license (preferred)
- Ability to carry up to 50 to 100 pounds, 8-10 hours per day
- Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
- Professional appearance
- Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
- 2+ years previous industry experience in landscape maintenance and/or landscape and plant installation, including beautification services like mulching, edging and hedge trimming, etc.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with little direction
Salary
$22 - $30 per hour
