Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pizza Maker to join the TURNPIKE MARKET team. The ideal candidate has a passion for working with dough, high-quality ingredients, and delivering delicious, perfectly baked pizzas. You will be responsible for all aspects of pizza preparation, from dough shaping to topping selection and final presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dough Preparation: Prepare, knead, and shape pizza dough according to our recipe and standards.
• Topping & Assembly: Slice and portion fresh ingredients, ensuring consistent quality and presentation of pizzas.
• Cooking & Baking: Use pizza ovens to bake pies to perfection, monitoring cooking times and temperatures.
• Quality Control: Check each pizza for taste, appearance, and accuracy before serving to guests.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient supplies; report shortages or replenishment needs to management.
• Cleanliness & Safety: Maintain a clean, organized workstation in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience making pizzas or working in a pizzeria/kitchen environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of pizza dough techniques, cooking times, and topping combinations.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
