Assistant teacher for busy infant room in a licensed child care center.
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced individual to join our team as a third teacher in our infant room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with infants and providing a nurturing and loving environment for our youngest learners. Responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the classroom, such as supervision, lesson planning, observations, and assessments.
Our infant room caters to children aged 6 weeks to 18 months old who are inquisitive and constantly learning. It is important for the teacher to create engaging and educational activities that promote child development and growth.
This is a full-time position, Monday-Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm with a 1-hour lunch break (40 hours per week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities
- Create individualized lesson plans to meet the needs of each child
- Observe and assess each child's progress and development
- Maintain open communication with parents to address any concerns or needs
- Collaborate with co-teachers to ensure a cohesive classroom environment
- Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and meets all health and safety standards
- Stay updated on best practices in early childhood education and child development
Starting pay for qualified candidates with NH Associate qualification begins at $16.00. If you do not have experience or education, but are passionate about working with infants and are dedicated to providing quality care and education, we would love to hear from you as well. We would be willing to train and provide free college courses education to work towards becoming associate qualified.
