Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations
  • Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans for children with speech delays, language disorders, articulation/phonological disorders, fluency issues, AAC needs, and/or feeding difficulties
  • Deliver direct therapy services in a fun, play-based clinic environment
  • Collaborate with caregivers to provide education, training, and strategies to support carryover at home
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including evaluation reports, treatment notes, progress updates, and discharge summaries
  • Participate in team meetings, interdisciplinary collaboration, and in-house training opportunities
  • Uphold ethical and professional standards while maintaining compliance with HIPAA, ASHA, and state licensure requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP license in the state Tennessee
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA (CFs welcome to apply with supervision available)
  • Pediatric experience preferred but not required
  • CPR certification
  • Ability to pass background checks and required screenings

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with early intervention, autism spectrum disorders, feeding therapy, AAC, or literacy-based intervention
  • Familiarity with EMR (electronic medical records) systems
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • A play-based, child-led therapy style


Salary

$63,000 - $67,000 per year
