Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations using standardized assessments and clinical observations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, visual-motor integration, ADLs, and self-regulation
  • Provide direct therapy services in a clinic setting, using evidence-based and play-based approaches
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers to educate, coach, and empower them in supporting their child’s goals
  • Participate in interdisciplinary collaboration with other therapists, educators, and medical providers
  • Accurately document evaluations, progress notes, daily treatment logs, and discharge summaries in a timely manner
  • Participate in team meetings, in-service trainings, and quality improvement initiatives
  • Maintain compliance with clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and state/federal therapy practice guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current and valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of Tennessee
  • Experience with pediatric populations (early childhood through adolescence)
  • New graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship available
  • Current CPR certification
  • Ability to pass background check and required screenings

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sensory integration, handwriting programs, feeding therapy, or neurodiverse populations
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation systems (EMR)
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Commitment to evidence-based, child-centered therapy


Salary

$63,000 - $67,000 per year
