Tuff City Records is an independent record label in midtown Manhattan. Tuff City Records is a 40-year veteran company with an extensive master catalog of R&B, Rap, Funk and Jazz spanning 60 years.

We are seeking an intern to join our team and help us create engaging and dynamic social media campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience with animation software and a passion for creating content that resonates with our audience.

 

Position Title: Social Media Intern

 

Rate: $10/hr

Schedule: Spring/Fall variable days up to 20 hours per week during business hours. 

Summer/Winter Break variable up to 35 hours per week during business hours.

 

Location: On site

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with our team to create assets for social media campaigns
• Use animation software to create visual counterparts to existing songs, raps and breakbeats
• Assist with concept development and storyboarding
• Contribute fresh and innovative ideas to our creative process

 

Requirements:

• Experience with animation software, such as Adobe After Effects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

 

Experience preferred:

• A strong portfolio that showcases animation work
• A passion for social media and creating engaging content
• Interest in the music business is a big plus.
