Position Responsibilities
● Set up digital and analog workspace with existing equipment (laptop, turntable, monitors, 1/4" reel player, cassette, cd) and source required equipment and software as needed.
● Manage 20,000 track digital archive in WAV and MP3 format for licensing and production.
● Transfer 1/4" tape and clean audio from old 7" vinyl sources without tape backup to digital for the library.
● Master digital archive for physical release. Critically listen to and approve master submissions and test pressing (primarily vinyl, possibly CD's as well).
● Liaison with off site staff engineer for high end transfer projects.
● Source online material owned by our company without a physical copy in house and transfer to the database.
