**Job Overview:**

As a Shovel Team Member at Tuck Home Services, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from residential and commercial properties during the winter season. This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various weather conditions to ensure the safety and accessibility of our clients' properties.

Please note that this position is an on call position throughout the winter, with the possibility of early morning or late-night shifts. We go out when the snow falls.

**Responsibilities:**

- Shoveling snow and ice from walkways

- Applying salt or sand to prevent ice buildup where needed

- Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors

-You will typically be a part of a team of 2-3 or riding with a driver

**Requirements:**

- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads

- Willingness to work outdoors in cold weather conditions, sometimes at odd hours

- Strong work ethic and reliability

- Good communication skills

- Previous experience with snow removal is preferred, but not required

-You do not need to available every storm but just need to communicate your availability promptly when a storm comes so we can plan
