The Role As a Job Cost Accountant at TSS Civil, LLC, you will be responsible for tracking and analyzing project costs, ensuring that financial data is accurate and up-to-date. You will collaborate closely with project managers to provide insights that help in decision-making and enhance project profitability.

What You'll Do - Track and analyze project costs to ensure accuracy and compliance with budgets.

- Prepare job cost reports and financial statements for project managers and stakeholders.

- Collaborate with project teams to gather data and provide financial insights.

- Monitor and report on variances between budgeted and actual costs.

- Assist in the preparation of project budgets and forecasts.

- Ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing for projects.

- Maintain financial records and documentation for audit purposes.

What We're Looking For - Proven experience in job cost accounting or a similar financial role.

- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.

Nice to Have - Experience in the construction or civil engineering industry.

- Knowledge of job cost accounting principles.

- Familiarity with financial reporting standards and regulations.

- Quickbooks Online experience
