As the Director of sales, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the overall sales strategy at Truthset. You will be joining the organization at pivotal moment as we begin to launch the next way of our activation and usage-based Data Rated Audience solutions. Your responsibilities will involve building strong VP and C-level partnerships with new and existing Agency partners and Brands ensuring a successful delivery of services, creating new monetization strategies, prospecting new partners, and growing revenue. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, client service, and a proactive, “figure-it-out” attitude that thrives in a start-up environment.

As the Director of Sales, you will be at the forefront of shaping and executing the overall sales strategy at Truthset. Your responsibilities will involve building strong VP and C-level partnerships with Agencies and Brands ensuring a successful delivery of services, creating new monetization strategies, prospecting new partners, and growing revenue. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, client service, and a proactive, “figure-it-out” attitude that thrives in a start-up environment.

 

Responsibilities:

 

·       Prospect/grow revenue against a defined account list of the top Media Agencies building a deep understanding of their organization, needs and revenue potential.

·       Develop and maintain client relationships at all levels of an account with a focus on brand marketers and executive-level agency personnel 

·       Meet/exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals in accordance to the sales plan

·       Work with senior management on accurate revenue forecasting, sales planning and sales strategy

·       Represent Truthset in the industry via conference attendance and active participation with the relevant organizations to increase brand awareness and drive new leads and client engagements

·       Work closely with the marketing team to craft messaging aimed at our Enterprise clients and prospects

 

Skills Required:

 

·       Extensive knowledge of Database Marketing, Ad Tech, Martech, including a deep knowledge of the Third-party Data Provider space.

·       Minimum of 5-10 years sales experience

·       Passion for data driven advertising and ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

·       Experience selling into diverse sets of buyer profiles including Marketing, data strategy and media buying teams.

·       Track record of performing against quota and excelling in a highly competitive market

·       Proven relationships and a strong track record with fortune 500 customers

·       Strong client relationships with access to brand marketers and executive-level agency decision makers

·       Excellent written/verbal communication skills and comfort presenting in front of a client a must

·       Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars and industry events

·       Versatility to wear multiple hats and handle responsibilities across business development, strategy, client service, marketing and pre-sales solutions.

 


Salary

$150,000 - $500,000 per year
