Here’s Your Role 


  • Drive Recruitment Efforts and Attract Top Talent: Lead end-to-end recruiting processes, including creating job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new hires. Focus on identifying and attracting the best talent in the industry to strengthen the team and support company growth. 
  • Be a Best Friend to the Team: Act as the go-to person for HR-related questions and support, assisting team members with everything from payroll to PTO. 
  • Manage HR Operations through Azure DevOps, Salesforce and Gusto: Oversee payroll processing, PTO tracking, and other HR functions to ensure smooth operations. 
  • Handle Employee Communications: Keep the team informed with clear, concise updates on policies, benefits, and company news. 
  • Create Engaging Presentations: Use Microsoft PowerPoint and Teams to develop impactful slides and presentations for communicating key messages to the team. 
  • Foster a Positive Work-Life Balance Environment: Encourage open communication, promote mental well-being, and create a supportive culture that prioritizes balance. 
  • Act as a Liaison Between Employees and Leadership: Ensure employees’ voices are heard while keeping leadership informed of any concerns or feedback.

Experience 


  • 3+ years of experience in an HR-related role, preferably in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Familiarity with Gusto for payroll, paystubs, and benefits administration. 
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams, Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, and other tools to create presentations and manage communications. 
  • Salesforce knowledge is a plus, with the ability to navigate platforms and tools dynamically. 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across the team. 
  • Experience managing PTO requests, payroll submissions, and employee documentation. 
  • Experience with AI tools to optimize HR and recruitment processes. 
  • Quick adaptability to learn new, dynamic tools and technologies as they are introduced. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and ensure compliance with employment regulations.

Day in the Life: HR Operations and Talent Specialist 


Morning: 

  • Start your day by reviewing pending tasks in Microsoft Azure DevOps, Gusto or the Salesforce platform. 
  • Process any PTO requests or payroll updates that need attention. 
  • Lead a team check-in or respond to HR-related questions that may have come in overnight. 
  • Review AI-powered insights for recruitment or operational efficiencies to improve processes. 


Midday: 


  • Conduct one-on-one sessions with team members to check in on their well-being and gather feedback. 
  • Dive into policy updates or review compliance requirements to ensure everything is up to date. 
  • Use Microsoft PowerPoint and Teams to create engaging presentations for the team. 
  • Schedule and conduct interviews, leveraging AI tools to enhance candidate assessment. 


Afternoon: 


  • Collaborate with other departments to align HR processes with company objectives. 
  • Review employee performance metrics and prepare for upcoming review sessions. 
  • Finalize offer letters or onboarding plans for new hires. 
  • Spend time on personal development, reading about HR trends, AI tools, or technologies to improve processes. 
  • Wrap up your day by updating documentation and preparing for the next day’s tasks. 
  • Send the End of the Day Report to the Manager. 

 

Throughout the Day: 

 

  • Juggle multiple priorities: Keep an eye on various projects and balance the demands of a fast-paced environment. 
  • Switch contexts seamlessly: Move between client meetings, team collaborations, and operational tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
