Position Overview:
What It's Like to Be Our Engagement Manager?
As an Engagement Manager at Truffle, you’re the owner of the client relationship—from kickoff to expansion. You make sure what we deliver lands with impact. You lead delivery teams without getting lost in the weeds, and you keep clients aligned, informed, and confident.
Here’s Your Role:
- Be the face of the project—own client communication, escalation management, and executive alignment.
- Lead end-to-end implementations across Sales, Service, Success, IT, and Marketing departments.
- Run the day-to-day: standups, blockers, dependencies, scope control, burn reports—without the bloat.
- Facilitate discovery workshops, document requirements, and keep the delivery team moving without confusion or lag.
- Handle risks and issues head-on—before they become client escalations, own the room when things get hard.
- Ensure quality; from documentation to demos to go-live checklists.
- Lead regular account reviews and ensure clients see the ROI from our work.
- Support pre-sales with SOW inputs, effort estimates, and client roadmaps.
- Mentor junior team members, raise the bar, and help everyone win together.

Experience:
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing mid to enterprise-scale Salesforce projects or similar implementations in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Extensive experience with Salesforce platforms, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Demonstrated ability to understand business processes and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions that drive business value.
- Proven track record of managing end-to-end project delivery, ensuring alignment, productivity, and successful outcomes while maintaining high client satisfaction.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing project risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, including at the executive level.
- Experience in facilitating workshops and leading stakeholder meetings to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
- Proven leadership skills, with a track record of inspiring and motivating teams to deliver their best work in a fast-paced, agile environment.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mid to enterprise-scale Salesforce projects using structured project management methodologies and agile principles, ensuring alignment with client expectations and business objectives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle and ensuring strong stakeholder engagement.
- Oversee cross-functional project teams, managing resources, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project execution while maintaining a focus on agility and efficiency.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to gather requirements, define project scope, and set clear, achievable objectives, leveraging planning and coordination techniques that promote collaboration and alignment.
- Translate business needs into actionable Salesforce solutions, collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure feasibility and alignment with client goals, while focusing on continuous improvement and value delivery.
- Proactively manage project risks, dependencies, and escalations, utilizing robust risk management processes and dependency management techniques to resolve conflicts and ensure project milestones are met on time.
- Ensure all project documentation is thorough and up-to-date, including requirements, solutions, progress reports, and compliance with project governance standards.
- Drive customer delight by consistently delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that exceed client expectations and deliver significant business value.
- Support pre-sales activities by contributing to proposals, SOWs, and project estimates, ensuring alignment with client needs, resource availability, and project feasibility.
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment, and promoting principles of continuous learning and improvement within the team.
- Continuously improve project management practices, staying current with Salesforce updates, best practices, and industry trends, and applying these to bring innovative and efficient solutions to every engagement.
