Job Responsibilities:
- Perform quality x-rays using proper positioning and radiation safety measures.
- Ensure patient, staff, and self safety by following radiation exposure protocols.
- Maintain and file all x-ray paperwork accurately.
- Understand and operate x-ray equipment effectively.
- Assist in patient care by obtaining vital signs, preparing patients for exams and treatments, and administering medications as directed.
- Conduct point of care lab testing and phlebotomy procedures.
- Sterilize instruments, stock supplies, and maintain cleanliness of treatment areas.
- Collaborate with medical providers and clinic staff to deliver high-quality care.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and professional atmosphere.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensed to practice in Diagnostic Radiography by the Michigan Department of Environmental Protection.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in a hospital or outpatient medical clinic preferred.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
