Position Overview

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) to join our growing outpatient behavioral health practice. This role is ideal for clinicians who are early in their professional journey and are working toward full licensure while gaining meaningful clinical experience in a supportive, growth-oriented environment.

The Agency Affiliated Counselor will provide individual and/or family therapy services under clinical supervision, complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, and actively participate in supervision and professional development. This position offers structured support, clinical mentorship, and the opportunity to work with a diverse client population.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient behavioral health services, including individual, family, and/or couples therapy as appropriate
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation in an electronic health record (EHR)
  • Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members as needed
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision in accordance with Washington State requirements
  • Adhere to ethical standards, agency policies, and applicable state and federal regulations
  • Maintain appropriate professional boundaries and uphold client confidentiality
  • Engage in ongoing learning and skill development to support clinical growth and licensure goals

Qualifications

  • Active Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential in Washington State (or ability to obtain)
  • Bachelors Degree (completed or in progress, as applicable) in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage caseload responsibilities independently while utilizing supervision appropriately
  • Comfort with technology and electronic health records
