Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Concierge and Asset Protection Officer in our retail setting. This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while safeguarding our store's assets, ensuring a safe and secure shopping environment for our customers and staff.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Customer Service:
  • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and requests with empathy and efficiency.
  • Provide product information, assistance, and recommendations as needed.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Asset Protection:
  • Monitor and maintain store security through surveillance systems and physical presence.
  • Prevent theft, fraud, and unauthorized access to the store.
  • Conduct bag checks and inspections when necessary.
  • Report and document any suspicious or unusual activities.
  • Safety and Emergency Response:
  • Assist in the implementation of safety and emergency procedures.
  • Respond to and de-escalate security incidents as needed.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement when required.
  • Inventory Control:
  • Help manage and track store inventory to prevent loss.
  • Perform periodic stock checks to identify discrepancies and report them to management.
  • Communication:
  • Maintain effective communication with the store management team.
  • Provide regular updates on customer service and security issues.
  • Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures related to asset protection and customer service.
  • Stay up to date with laws and regulations related to asset protection.


Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in security or customer service is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service and/or asset protection is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations.
  • Knowledge of security and surveillance systems.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
