We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant with interest or experience in Neurology to join our growing outpatient neurology team at TruNeurocare. The PA will work closely with the supervising neurologist to evaluate and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage neurology patients as directed by the supervising neurologist
  • See follow-up patients and selected new patients based on physician assignment and clinical appropriateness
  • Obtain histories and perform neurological examinations
  • Develop assessment and treatment plans under physician collaboration
  • Manage patients with neurological conditions including:
  • Headache and migraine disorders
  • Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders
  • Neuropathy
  • Dementia and cognitive disorders
  • Stroke follow-up and cerebrovascular disease
  • Seizure disorders
  • Order and interpret laboratory studies and imaging under supervising physician guidance
  • Provide patient and family education
  • Document accurately in EMR
  • Participate in telemedicine visits as appropriate
  • Collaborate with therapists, PCPs, and specialists
  • Assist with care coordination and medication management

Clinical Structure

Patient assignment and complexity will be determined by the supervising neurologist. The PA will evaluate patients independently in accordance with established protocols while collaborating closely with the physician on diagnosis, treatment plans, and escalation of care.
