The Head of Medical Affairs will establish and lead the Company’s Medical Affairs function, serving as both a clinical authority and a strategic leader for scientific information exchange, clinical evidence generation, and field medical engagement, ensuring the Company’s products and services are supported by robust data, trusted by healthcare providers, and aligned with the highest ethical and compliance standards. This is a new role within the Company and is designed initially to be a player-coach position and then transition to a management role over time as the Medical Affairs department and Medical Science Liaison (MSL) team is built out. Therefore, the position will initially dedicate at least 20 hours per week to healthcare professional-facing report reviews while building and scaling a high-performing MSL team that supports all business verticals including Healthcare Providers (HCP), Institutional Research Collaborations (IRC), Commercial Partnerships (CPS), and Direct-to-Consumer (DTC). The Head of Medical Affairs will play a critical role in initially educating healthcare providers, Key Opinion Leader (KOL) development, supporting sales enablement, developing medical communications, and building credibility in the Company’s science, research, products, and services.
