Duties

• Conduct detailed vocational assessments to evaluate skills, interests, abilities, and barriers for clients with various disabilities or challenges
• Develop individualized employment plans aligned with clients’ strengths and community resources
• Collaborate with employers, service providers, and community organizations to facilitate job placements and internships
• Provide mentoring, coaching, and training to clients on workplace skills, social interactions, and job retention strategies
• Maintain case management records, progress notes, and assessment documentation in compliance with employment & labor law regulations
• Assist in recruiting participants for workforce development programs through outreach and community engagement
• Deliver training sessions on topics such as disability awareness, social work practices, and employment readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling or related field; master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in assessment or employment settings
• Knowledge of employment & labor law applicable to workforce programs and accommodations
• Strong background in case management, interviewing techniques, mentoring, and training & development
• Familiarity with addiction counseling and working with underserved communities is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support diverse populations
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team committed to community empowerment
