Description

Traxx America - Seattle Express provides scheduled shuttle service for cruise passengers traveling between the SeaTac area and Seattle cruise terminals. Our operations focus on time-sensitive, high-volume passenger movements that require close coordination between drivers, dispatch, and operations staff.

We are seeking a Dispatcher to support spring and summer operations, with an opportunity to transition into a full-time, year-round role. This is primarily an on-site position supporting live transportation operations, with remote work possible depending on operational needs and experience. The role requires real-time decision-making, clear communication, and the ability to respond quickly to service disruptions.


Key Responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers for daily shuttle and charter services 

• Monitor routes, schedules, and vehicle status in real time 

• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers during service hours 

• Respond to delays, breakdowns, passenger issues, and schedule changes 

• Coordinate with operations and customer service teams to resolve issues efficiently 

• Update manifests, logs, and service notes accurately 

• Communicate service changes clearly to drivers and internal staff 

• Support airport, cruise, hotel, and special event operations as needed 

 

Schedule & Employment Details

Status: Seasonal (spring–summer) with opportunity for full-time conversion 

Schedule: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Thursday through Monday 

Work Week: 40 hours per week 

Overtime: Possible overtime opportunities based on operational needs 

Days Off: Tuesday and Wednesday 

Location: Seattle area; on-site operations required at our Renton bus yard

 

Compensation

Pay Range: $24.00 – $28.00 per hour, based on experience 

 

Qualifications

• Prior dispatch, transportation, logistics, or operations experience preferred 

• Strong situational awareness and ability to make quick, informed decisions 

• Clear and professional communication skills 

• Comfortable working with schedules, manifests, and operational software 

• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations  

Salary

$24 - $28 per hour
