Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)


Position Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our growing team. The BCBA is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services, ensuring individualized treatment plans are developed and implemented effectively, and supporting both clients and staff in achieving meaningful outcomes. This role combines clinical expertise, leadership, and collaboration with families, technicians, and other professionals.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assessment & Treatment Planning
  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs), skills assessments (e.g., Vineland, VB-MAPP, ABLLS, AFLS).
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that target socially significant goals aligned with medical necessity and DSM-5 deficits.
  • Regularly review data and update treatment plans to reflect progress and changing client needs.


  • Supervision & Staff Training
  • Provide direct supervision, training, and mentorship to RBTs and behavior technicians.
  • Model effective teaching, behavior reduction, and data collection strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with BACB supervision standards and ethical guidelines.


  • Direct Client Care
  • Oversee implementation of ABA programs in 1:1 and group settings.
  • Provide parent training and family support to ensure skill generalization outside of sessions.
  • Monitor client progress and make data-driven adjustments.


  • Collaboration & Communication
  • Maintain open communication with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams.
  • Work closely with insurance providers and office staff to support authorizations and treatment plan submissions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive clinic culture.


  • Compliance & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state, federal, insurance, and BACB requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to HIPAA, Medicaid, and insurance guidelines.
  • Uphold BACB ethical standards and Transformative ABA’s policies.


Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Education, Psychology, or related field.
  • Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Texas (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience providing supervision to RBTs/technicians.
  • Passion for working with children with autism and their families.

$60,000 - $70,000 per year
