You will provide recovery oriented, results driven mental health services to your client caseload. Populations served are children, teens, adults, couples and families.
We are seeking an Associate Mental Health Therapist (AMFT, APCC, ASW) experienced and interested in working with children, adolescents, and their families, to join our team at Transcend Behavioral Health (formerly Transcend Therapy).
You will provide recovery oriented, results driven mental health services to your client caseload. Populations served are children, teens, adults, couples and families.
Responsibilities:
● Provide individual and family counseling / psychotherapy, with opportunities to facilitate group counseling or workshops.
● Support individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns including but not limited to: neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, Autism, disruptive behaviors and learning disorders), mood and anxiety disorders, traumatic stress, substance use disorders, and other phase of life issues.
● Ensure all clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner.
● Participate in staff meetings and clinical supervision as indicated.
● See clients both in-person and virtually, with expectation to build caseload to 20 client sessions per week (considered full-time).
● Caseload will increase to full time typically over a 3-6 month period.
● Ability to provide services to children and families after school, evening or weekend hours.
● Learn how to navigate commercial health insurance and Employee Assistance Program benefits to assist clients.
● Maintain professional standards in accordance with the law and ethics applicable to license / registration.
Benefits:
● Associate rate: $33.00/hour for individual therapy services, $45.00/hour for couples and family therapy services, with paid supervision and administrative hours (W-2 employee)

Qualifications:
● Must have a valid BBS Registration to practice in the state of California.
● Applicants with ABA, play therapy, PCIT, or TF-CBT training or interest are highly encouraged to apply.
● Demonstrate good judgment and ethical decision-making.
● High level of attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Ability to work effectively within a team setting as well as independently.
● Strong organizational and leadership qualities.
● Familiar with telehealth platforms (Zoom, Google Meet), Electronic Health Records systems, and Google Workspace products including: Gmail, Calendar, Drive, etc.
$33 - $45 per hour
