TopStack has developed an initial, three-phase SEO plan and is now seeking a data-driven, highly analytical SEO Specialist to refine and execute the company’s SEO strategy. The successful candidate will work directly under the Head of Operations, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as increasing website traffic, strengthening domain authority, improving search rankings, and enhancing overall brand discoverability.


The ideal candidate has expertise in both on-page and off-page SEO, understands current search algorithm behaviors, and is comfortable creating actionable insights that support content, marketing, and executive decision-making. This person must thrive in an autonomous remote environment and be motivated by measurable performance outcomes. 


AS AN SEO SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:

  • Review and refine the company’s SEO strategy focused on organic growth, ranking improvements, and conversion optimization.
  • Create/optimize new and existing website pages, landing pages, and blog content to ensure SEO best practices across all site elements.
  • Conduct keyword research using modern SEO tools and identify high-impact opportunities aligned with company goals.
  • Monitor site health and conduct regular SEO audits to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Track performance metrics (rankings, traffic trends, CTR, conversions, backlinks, etc.) and provide monthly reporting with clear recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the management team to align SEO goals with brand initiatives and marketing campaigns.
  • Identify backlink opportunities, partnerships, and authority-building strategies to strengthen TopStack’s digital reputation.
  • Stay informed of algorithm changes, industry trends, and new SEO technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.


COMMITMENT & COMPENSATION 

We are looking for someone with the capacity to manage weekly monitoring, reporting, and implementation of SEO strategies. While the role offers flexibility in scheduling, timely output and support are essential.


This role will require approximately 10 hours per week at a rate of $10-$15 per hour (based on experience).


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, or web analytics.
  • Strong understanding of keyword research, SEO tools (e.g., Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs), and competitive analysis.
  • Experience optimizing website content, metadata, and site structure, preferably on WIX.
  • Ability to evaluate data, create actionable insights, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Strong written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Comfort working with basic technical SEO concepts (site speed, mobile optimization, indexing, crawl errors, etc.).


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with content strategy, blog optimization, or copywriting.
  • Familiarity with web development using WIX.
  • Experience executing link-building strategies.
  • Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) and user-journey mapping.
  • Experience in the career services, HR, or recruiting industry.
