The Tomorrow Center is a pediatric therapy clinic serving children and adolescents (approximately ages 3-19) in Buford and the surrounding North Georgia communities. The Center provides occupational therapy, speech therapy, and behavior based services and educational support within a sensory friendly, child centered environment, with a strong focus on supporting children with autism and other developmental differences through play based and family partnered care.

Position Summary
The Part Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) provides high quality occupational therapy services under the direction and supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist. The COTA will work primarily with pediatric clients in an outpatient clinic setting, implementing individualized treatment plans that support functional skills, sensory regulation, independence in daily activities, and meaningful participation at home, school, and in the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatment sessions as directed by the supervising OTR/L.
• Implement individualized treatment plans addressing fine motor skills, visual motor integration, sensory processing, self care, play skills, and functional participation.
• Use play based, child centered, and evidence informed therapeutic interventions.
• Accurately document treatment sessions, progress toward goals, and client responses in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with supervising therapists regarding client progress, concerns, and recommendations.
• Educate and support parents/caregivers with home programs and carryover strategies when appropriate.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (OT, SLP, ABA, and related providers) to promote coordinated, holistic care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment.
• Adhere to all professional, ethical, and organizational standards, including HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications
Required
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current Georgia Occupational Therapy Assistant license in good standing.
• Ability to work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Passion for working with children and families.
• Pediatric outpatient experience.
Preferred
• Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and/or sensory processing differences.
• Familiarity with electronic documentation systems, like Fusion.
• BLS/CPR certification (or ability to obtain).

Physical Requirements
• Ability to sit, stand, kneel, and move throughout therapy sessions.
• Ability to lift, assist, or transfer pediatric clients as needed (with or without reasonable accommodation).
• Ability to engage in floor based and play based therapy activities.
$35 - $45 per hour
