TOC Therapy: The Therapists of Color is seeking a skilled, self-motivated, licensed therapist interested in the freedom of private practice without the stress of business admin. You will provide outpatient therapy services to individuals and couples seeking mental health support. Work with a diverse range of clients and provide both in-person and virtual therapy services in a workplace that values diversity and wellness for its staff as much as for our client’s.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Minimum Caseload of 20 clients.  
  • Conduct assessments and create treatment plans for clients based on their individual needs and goals. 
  • Provide individual and couples therapy services to clients.
  • Utilize a culturally responsive approach in therapy services and work to create a safe and inclusive environment for all clients.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation. 
  • Collaborate with other mental health professionals as needed for client care.
  • Attend regular supervision and team meetings.


Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of California
  • At least 2 years of experience providing outpatient therapy services to individuals and/or couples.
  • Knowledge and experience working with diverse communities.
  • Experience providing virtual therapy services via HIPAA-compliant telehealth platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.

  • Client Recruitment: Don't worry about filling your caseload-- we will do it for you.
  • Consultation: Consultation is key for continued growth. We have ongoing group case consultations which are monthly, required, and paid. Additional individual consultations are available upon request and are paid.
